The Most Dangerous Adventures in the World (That People Actually Pay For)

Feb 28 2025

Some people love to relax on a beach. Others? They pay to risk their lives for the thrill of it! Here are some of the craziest, most dangerous adventures people actually sign up for.

1. Volcano Boarding – Nicaragua

Imagine sliding down the side of an active volcano at 50 mph on a wooden board.

Sounds fun, right?

But if you fall, the volcanic rock can scrape your skin like sandpaper.

Still, thrill-seekers travel to Nicaragua just to try this wild ride.

2. Cage Diving with Great White Sharks – South Africa

You get into a metal cage, get lowered into the ocean, and watch massive great white sharks swim right up to you.

Some even bump into the cage! It’s completely safe (well, mostly), but definitely not for the faint-hearted.

3. Climbing Mount Everest – Nepal

Everest is the highest mountain in the world, and climbing it is no joke.

Freezing temperatures, dangerous avalanches, and thin air make it one of the toughest (and deadliest) adventures ever. But people still pay thousands of dollars to try!

4. Skydiving Over an Active Volcano – Hawaii

Jumping out of a plane is scary enough.

Now imagine doing it over a lava-spewing volcano.

Skydivers in Hawaii get to free-fall while watching molten lava below. One wrong move, and… well, let’s not think about that.

5. Running with the Bulls – Spain

Every year in Spain, people run through the streets with real, live bulls chasing them.

The goal? Don’t get trampled or gored. Some people love the rush, others end up in the hospital.
