While exploring Kīlauea, one of the most active volcanoes in the world, he slipped and FELL INTO the crater. 

Miraculously, he landed on a narrow ledge, avoiding the lava just below. 

Rescuers pulled him out in time, and somehow, he walked away with only minor injuries. 

2. The Woman Who Woke Up on a Floating Iceberg

Imagine falling asleep in a boat and waking up alone—on an iceberg. 

That’s exactly what happened to a woman in Greenland. 

She dozed off during a fishing trip, and while her crew stepped away, a chunk of ice broke off, taking her with it. 

She floated away into the freezing ocean before a rescue team finally spotted her.

She stayed calm the entire time, joking that she was just “taking a nap on nature’s water bed.”
